Internet Censorship is the next step to slavery

I had a feeling this might come to pass in my lifetime.  Something always resonated in me at the thought of how I was born in 1984 and the book felt too real, the metaphor of how we were to progress into a system such as the one they have been implementing for ten years, probably planning for it much longer.

We live in a closing society. We are now having our ability to view and read about the greater world outside of our country ripped away from us.  Now they are preparing to blind us before they start slaughtering all the protesters, yes I said it, they will be making war against their own people in order to stay in power, but in America the PEOPLE are supposed to have the power, the government is supposed to do what WE say not whatever they want.  We have let them get away with making all the decisions for generations, so distracted by material things and the false dawn of an "American Dream."  If we want to see the true dawn of a new paradigm we will have to stand up and fight for our lives.
