The times are changing

Before Christmas there were pagan festivals in December around the solstice and even a Roman one on the 25th which celebrated "the golden age of universal freedom and equality, and in honor of the unconquered sun." (source)

I'd like to see a little more sun worship, and celebration of equality and a little less greedy worship of objects that in reality have little affect on us compared to the sun and the seasons. We must embrace the knowledge held in antiquity before social controls were put into place to led us astray. I have faith everyone can find peace within themselves and with loved ones without pressure and stress of the stereotypes we have been building around the "holiday season."
